Resident Intimacy and Violence Director
Sierra Young (Resident Intimacy and Violence Director, she/her) is a multi-hyphenate artist in the DC/ Baltimore area. She is an active member of the SAFD, IDC, and SDC. Sierra is also the resident fight and intimacy director for Baltimore Center Stage. Recent DC choreography credits The Age of Innocence, Ja Ja’s African Hair Braiding, and POTUS at Arena Stage; Head Over Heels at Constellation Theatre Company; Twelfth Night at Folger Theatre; Hand to God, Merrily We Roll Along, and Sweat at Keegan Theatre; Spring Awakening (Helen Hayes nominated) at Monumental Theatre Company; Frankenstein and King Lear (Helen Hayes nominated) at Shakespeare Theatre Company; Paradise Blue, The Scenarios, Downstate, Exception to the Rule and The Colored Museum at Studio Theatre; and Porgy and Bess at Washington National Opera.
