Apprenticeships provide hands on experience for early career theatre artists and arts administrators in high school, college, graduate school, or who are recent graduates. Participants learn from and work with highly skilled artists, administrators, and designers at a Helen Hayes Award-winning theater. Apprentices also follow a curriculum that includes seminars and mentorships with theater leaders, managers and Board Members and develop educational goals, starting with the onboarding process and evolving during their time with Mosaic.
Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships are season-long positions for recent college graduates and provide the opportunity to be engaged in long-term projects within their assigned department. Apprentices function as integral members of the Mosaic staff. Three to five Apprentices are chosen per season to work in and across administrative areas of their interest throughout Mosaic. Apprentices work 10-20 hours a week and receive monthly stipends.
Applications for the 2022-2023 season have closed.

As part of Mosaic’s commitment to transformational, thought-provoking, socially relevant art, we offer classes and workshops that speak to the creation of our art. We provide opportunities to learn the ins and outs of the playmaking process, from idea conception to performance and empower participants to begin their own artistic journeys and create their own art. These classes embrace the complexities of the presence of varied perspectives and diverse voices.
